I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.
That’s a nice paint job
Here’s a link to the Knucklebones Minis storefront for those curious
There’s also the question of light transmission through the material (probably has a term but idk) as different materials with different pigments will transmit light differently.
So OP would need to find a partially transparent red TPU so that light will go through it but also needs to diffuse as well.
Yeah commercial product would likely be cheaper here.
Sounds about right, I remember watching his content on that regards awhile ago when I was interested in the topic, before my state made them illegal that is.
Basically if you wanna operate a company hosted on servers in a specific place you’re going to have to abide by the laws of that place. Or if you want the ability to do business in a specific place you’ll need to abide by their laws even if you’re not from that place.
So having my printer sitting next to my cure station is perfectly fine
Especially considering the light has to go through 2 of the covers to get to the resin
Thank you for the info, I’d love to see the numbers for the smaller wavelengths but I have no idea the kind of equipment cost it’d take to get those.
You’ll have enough room for sure
Most phones ship with at least 64GB of storage and songs aren’t very big files
You’ll probably have like 25+GB free and that’s enough for a lot of songs.
Let’s say the file sizes are 2.5MB per minute (which is pretty close to standard for high quality MP3s) then you could fit 10000 minutes of music on there. So if your songs are on average 5 minutes long then you could fit 2000 songs on there.
Thank you
I was able to find their MyMiniFactory page
They’ve got a alot of cool stuff I’ll have to check out for sure
Luckily my lid is currently mostly clean barring a few smudges from incidents
I usually change my gloves before I touch it so it gets fresh gloves every time
Edit: Also be careful with IPA on acrylic as it will damage it. I learned that with not 3D printing related stuff but long story short it makes it brittle and can make it foggy.
Ah the balancing act of marketing one’s stuff online and potentially outing yourself online
This is why you should always have a multitude of alt accounts for different reasons
Ie FarceMultiplier and FarceDivider, where FarceDivider is used to build a specific public facing image for when you talk about your book, and FarceMultiplier is used for shit posting.
My feed’s been doing the same
Honestly I thought it was because I clicked on another Warhammer 40k lore video‡
The mini videos don’t seem to do it but with some of the smaller lore channels it seems to do it, it’s pretty frustrating
Edit: ‡ I enjoy the lore videos and mini painting videos, it’s been years since I’ve actually played Warhammer though
People seem to constantly underestimate how important logistics and inventory tracking really is
I work in the freight industry and I’m constantly finding shit that isn’t labeled properly, packaged properly, or even put on the correct trailer. And that’s just me as one dude on a loading dock with about 150 doors and about 40 people buzzing around on forklifts.
Literally last month I found half a dozen pallets ranging in cost from $1000 - $75000 that had been pushed deep into a storage area that freight isn’t supposed to be near and had been misplaced over a year prior.
The only reason I found them was because I was investigating trying to find a pallet worth almost $200,000 that someone had misplaced the day before. It was in that area as well.
I’ve got a few tips
Be thorough with your primer, it will make the world of difference in how well your paint sticks to the model
A little bit of paint goes a long ways
Clean the brushes promptly when done, especially if you use a brush for dry brushing
And most importantly: nobody’s first paint job looks like a Rembrandt painting, don’t be too hard on yourself on your first minis.
Last time I needed IO pins for a project I ended going with a circuit python compatible board
I think I went with a Qt Py with an esp32, it was like $15, has native type C, and was really easy to work with
